If you are looking for security seals, stickers, tags or labels for proof of product tampering, Imprints offers tamper proof / tamper evident Destructible Vinyl, VOID Polyester, and our new Orange OPEN/VOID security seals and labels. These label products are ideally suited for product warranty protection. Each of these security tags and seals has its own properties and will react differently depending upon how you use them. While these security seals / labels are usually used to show proof of product tampering they can also be used as asset and inventory labels or for warranty purposes.

Tamper Evident Labels That Are Easy To Use And Apply:

Our tamper evident labels, security tags, and seals are extremely easy to apply! For the best results, it is helpful that the product's surface is first cleaned with 91% isopropyl alcohol to ensure that the security stickers will adhere properly. We recommend allowing the labels to set for at least 24 hours when testing; the adhesive will get stronger the longer the stickers are left in place. This is one reason why our security seals are great for tamper proof / evident and warranty purposes; it's much harder for an end user to bypass the protections afforded by these tags without leaving some evidence behind.

Orange OPEN/VOID Security Seals:

This new security material is specially made for Imprints. As far as we know, no one else offers this material for their tamper evident seals. The two stock sizes are 2 x 1 (2.0 x 1.0) and 1-3/8 x 3.8 (1.375 x .375). The material is hard to describe. It is almost a combination of the polyester and vinyl sticker materials we offer. Black is the only print color that is useable on this material.

White VOID Polyester Security Seals:

Our White VOID polyester security labels are available in two stock sizes: 1-7/8 x 3/4 (1.875 x .75) and 1-3/8 x 3/8 (1.375 x .375).
The VOID material works best on a smooth clean surface. Print color choices are Black, Blue, Green or Red. These seals work great for tamper proof / evident or warranty purposes.

Destructible Vinyl Security Seals:

Our destructible vinyl security material is available in two stock sizes: 1-1/2 x 5/8 (1.5 x .625) and 1-1/4 x 3/8 (1.25 x .375).
Destructible vinyl is an excellent material and works on most surfaces for tamper proof / evident or warranty purposes. Care needs to be taken while applying security seals made out of this material as it can easily break while peeling it away from the backing liner. While the same four printing color choices are available on this material (Black, Red, Green, or Blue), we recommend using Black print on your labels. The other color options simply do not print as well on the destructible vinyl material. Since the primary use of our security labels is for tamper proof, evident and warranty purposes, you want the print to be clear.

Application Instructions for Tamper Proof, Tamper Evident, Warranty Labels & Seals

The security seals / labels are equipped with a permanent adhesive that should remain intact for many years (my original seals look new and they are 10 years old), but no matter the use they are just labels and can be removed. Since they are used for so many types of surfaces as tamper proof, tamper evident and warranty seals, there is no true way to predict how well they will adhere to all surfaces.

You should only apply our security seals to a clean surface. You can wipe the surface with 91% isopropyl alcohol to remove any fingerprints, dirt or dust that could prevent the security seals from adhering properly.

The adhesive on the tamper proof & evident, as well as warranty seals grows more durable as it ages. If you are testing to find out which security seal material is best for your products, the best results are obtained if you allow the stickers to set for at least 24 hours before trying to remove them.
