What makes Imprints different from other companies selling labels on the Internet?
Imprints only sells a few select hard to find products. I try to offer 24 hour turnaround time on most orders with the lowest advertised prices on the Internet, without sacrificing quality.

Why are your labels so much less expensive than some of the others on the Internet?
I use different materials and have a low overhead. I am a one person company and have a very unique method of producing my labels. Most orders go in and out the next day and I have handled quantities from 100 to 100,000. Most of my competitors are selling anodized aluminum labels. They are truly the best label you can buy if you are willing to pay the price. Be careful when comparing prices, most of them charge by the 100. In most cases my labels will be fine, unless they are to be used in a harsh environment.

Are your labels permanent?
That is my most asked question. The answer is yes and no. While they do use a permanent adhesive, they are only permanent as long as no one tries to remove them. The labels will come off. They will stick better on some surfaces than others. The longer they set, the better they stick. When testing, I recommend at least a 24 to 48 hour test.

I see that you have both asset and security labels, can I use the security label material as an asset label?
Not a problem. I try to make the ordering process as easy as possible. All of my materials and sizes are the same price. You can interchange the materials to best suit your needs.

Do the prices include barcoding and serialization?
Yes, whatever I can fit on the label is included in the price. There are no set up or any other charges other than shipping for my stock items.

What type of barcode do you use and what if I am not set up with a barcoding system yet?
I use Code 39. If you have yet to implement a barcode system but are considering it, I recommend putting barcodes on the label. At least you will have them in case you ever get to that point, plus they make the label look a little more professional. You can start the number wherever you like.

Can you print my logo on the label?
Maybe. Logo's do not always come out well with my printing process and with the size of the label they sometimes get in the way of the additional information being printed. The logo can only be one color (the same as the rest of the print) and will need to be emailed to me in a high resolution (300 dpi) graphic file format. (eps, jpeg, tiff, corel, illustrator, etc.)

Can you do multiple numbers of the same label?
Yes, and with as many duplicates as you like. Of course that will raise your price. If you need 1,000 sets of 2 labels, you have to take the 2,000 price. I have just added a new two part label that will be available in both silver and white. The larger part of the label will contain the majority of the information, while a small extension label will contain just the corresponding number. These new labels will be priced as a single label.

Can I get samples of your labels?
I have pre made up sample packs with all of my stock materials/sizes and a price list included. I prefer that you get a sample pack first before placing your order. I want you to test out all of my materials to see which will work best for you.

You do not have what I am looking for, can you do custom orders?
In most cases yes. I have been in the labels business for a long time and have a great relationship with my former employer. I can get just about any label done for you. If I cannot, I will try to find you someone who can.

I would like to place an order what do I do next?
I like to keep things personal when I can and since this is the most important process it is best to do it over the phone. If I am not available to take your call you can send me an email or a fax with the information you would like printed, your material/color choice. Please include your fax number as I will be faxing you back a proof. Once the proof is approved your order will be printed and shipped. I normally ship via priority mail and accept MasterCard, Visa, Purchase Orders, and can ship C.O.D.
